Kayaking trip: Baldwin Beach/Emerald Bay
Wednesday, Sept 22, 2010
8:00am (meeting at Northwoods to carpool; kayak launch by 9:00am)

PRELIMINARY INFO: We'll be renting kayaks from Kayak Tahoe which is located at Baldwin Beach. Parking fee is $7. Be sure to bring water, a snack, sunscreen, sunglasses, windbreaker, hat, and shoes that can get wet. There is a third-of-a-mile walk down a steep, sandy trail from the parking area to where the kayaks are kept. The kayaking portion will be at least 4 hours (3.75 miles), so rentals are full-day rentals. Rental prices are $65 (single) or $85 (double) for the day. As options they offer Vikingsholm tour ($5) for 1.5 hrs (bringing the day to 5.5hrs), stop at Fanette Island with short waterfall hike, and guide. (added 8/28/2010)

The RSVP Form requests your name(s), kayaks you have or need to rent (number by size of kayak).

You can use the same RSVP Form to cancel your participation (by entering "0" for any requests).
