Ski Racing Program
2009-10 Race Chairpersons are Bob
and Nancy Ellis
The 2009-10 TDSASC ski racing program
promises to be one of the highlights of the club this year.
If you have never raced before, if you are an accomplished ski racer,
or somewhere in between,
you should experience the exhilaration of the challenge and accomplishment
of skiing your best.
All of the ski races and practices will be held on the race hill at
Tahoe Donner.
The schedule and description of events are the following:
Race and Training Schedule 2010:

Instead of a TDSASC ski clinic (9:30-12),
try out Tahoe Donner's Masters' Ski Racing Program, TD Ski School,

Practice with instructors 9-10; Carving Cup Competition

Warm up until 10. East/West Team
race 10 (lowest average time wins); Announcing the winners will
be one of the highlights of the potluck dinner, Saturday 27th
6 p.m. at the Ski Lodge. (Last year the East Team was the winning
team!) |
| March 25 |
(Thurs) 9:30-12 |
TDSASC's Club Race; Trophies awarded to top 3 men
and women racers. First Place winners (men & women's) names will
be engraved on a perpetual plaque that is displayed at the Ski Lodge.
Trophies will be resented at the evening awards dinner at "The Lodge
at Tahoe Donner. |
