TEAM COMPETITION RACE

This is a friendly rivalry between EAST TD and WEST TD teams.
The race starts at approximately 10:00am. Come by 9:00 to sign up at the Tahoe Donner Lodge and sign the club waver. You will then have time to inspect the course and loosen up. You will receive instructions about the race at the time of sign up.

The Club will hold its annual East/West race on Thursday, February 13th. This fun team event is open to all members and will be between two teams curated by the event coordinators. It is a chance to let your Jean-Claude Killy out and turn through some gates regardless of your self-identified skiing level. This relaxed giant slalom type course, set on the race course run at Tahoe Donner, is appropriate for all TD ski club members, intermediate to advanced. The race is free for members. Lift tickets for ski club members without Tahoe Donner downhill passes are $29.

Check in 8:30-9. Warm up and course inspection 9-10. Race start scheduled for 10 AM. Conditions permitting, 2 race runs per racer, best time contributes to team score.

Senior lift ticket is $29.00 at the ticket counter for members without a season pass and for member's guests skiing in the clinic. Seniors over 70 no longer ski free but the pass cost is only $25.00.
